Details: I am selling my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it´s a Limited Edition with the 318 5.2L V8, automatic, All-Time 4wd has a sticker good until October or November, will pass inspection again. It has 158k on it, going on 159k, engine runs very good (cast iron, will never die), and tranny shifts good. Has all power options, leather, heated power mirrors, power windows (only the driver can operate the windows though, lock isn´t working, but they all go up and down good), has the factory full-sized tire on matching rim, they´ve never been used, I think I´m the first person to even take the leather cover off of it (had to remove it to replace a brake light). The frame on this vehicle is mint, and the body is awesome for a ´94. It has four newer All-Season tires on it, 4-hi and 4-lo engage and work good, has a digital compass for Temp, MPG, etc. I recently had the rear pinion seal bearing replaced, I noticed that it was JUST starting to leak, and I had a Jeep lose a rear end from that before, so it was the first thing I looked for, I replaced some speakers, had the transmission get looked at (it was due for a service so they removed the pan, looked at the filter said the fluid and filter were VERY clean, so they just topped it off with new fluid), really put at least $1000 into it since I bought it. I just got a truck and a new car, so I´m looking to sell this, it´s still currently my daily driver. This needs nothing to run or pass inspection again.There are a couple flaws with this Jeep, and they are all really just annoyances, the computer will throw two false codes, one says ´Service 4wd Switch´ and the other says ´Coolant Low´ neither is true and nothing happens when they come on except a couple beeps to alert you, they don´t always come on, they come and go if you hit a bump or something, the person before me replaced the 4wd switch not knowing it was a false alarm, my sister had a 1996 one with the same problem. The amp for the radio will need to be replaced it´s located under the rear driver´s side seat, which flips up easily, I will look for one at my local scrap yard, it´s only like $5 from a scrap yard. I had this diagnosed by my mechanic, the fuel pump works fine, but when I go to start it and it´s cold out (less than 60 typically), I need to leave the key in the on position so fuel is delivered up the line, takes about 10-15 seconds, check engine light will flash when it´s ready to start, if it´s warmer out no problem starting it, he said it was the pressure valve in the fuel pump allowing fuel to run back down the line when the vehicle is off, once the vehicle is running I have no problems, doesn´t stall when I´m driving or anything like that. Also, you can see electrical tape holding one of the fog-lights on in a picture, the light just happened to break from the bracket, no idea how, I have two brand new lights, even brighter than those that are included with the Jeep, the ones on it work still though.It´s a solid vehicle, runs great, once the fuel is delivered it starts instantly, I´m just not an SUV person, moreso a small truck and car type, so I moved on. Looking for $1900, I paid $2000 in October for it, and put about $1000 into it, not including the labor I´ve done myself on it, now it´s just time to move on. No low-ballers, I´m not giving vehicles away. I have a bunch of pictures so feel free to e-mail me for questions and additional pictures, Craigslist won´t let me put more than two up at once. This is a known issue and is fixable.The passenger side seat heater don´t work. A bikini top with hardware, and a water proff cover incase you dont want to keep putting the top back on!Jeep has some sun faded spots on the hood and the grill right below the windshield. Jeep is from NC so this rig has no rust. Extremely solid, and the Vermont jeeps cant compare. The top does not have a rear windshield wiper, and has a minor power steering fluid leak.
