The motor and trans are about 8 miles at my dads house. On the motor the timing chain cover broke and a alt. bracket broke so you would need these parts. I have the title to sign over. Details: I am selling a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara White color and White tops. It has 2 tops, hard top and soft top, both in good conditon. It is a 5 speed 4.0 with 189,000 miles on it. The tires are brand new 30x9.50x15 Dunlop Radial Rover A/Ts, The rims are original. The body has a few cosmetic rust spots, there is a rust hole on the passenger side front fender that is covered with a peice of tin, otherwise pretty good. The interior is the sahara green and tan, no holes in the seats. Mechanically, the engine runs really good, the oil has always been changed every 3,000 miles. The spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap & rotor are all new. It gets around 15/mpg. The clutch grinds the gears a little, so it will eventually need a clutch and maybe the syncronizers in the transmission will need replaced. It has a few modification upgrades, a K&N Air Raid air filter, Stainless steel exhaust and tail pipe, 3´ suspension lift, and a reese hitch. I am also looking to trade for a Chevy, GMC truck. Details: Selling my red 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I have had this car since December 2010 and it still runs great. Brand new tires put on this past October. About 119k on a rebuilt motor but it runs like a champ. Optional 4 wheel drive that has gotten me out of some serious snow. I will be as honest as I can in telling what the Jeep will need fixed, mostly suspension issues. The left side ball bearings will need replaced soon and I have been told that the shocks should be replaced as well. Also, the struts may need a little bit of work soon. The only other mechanical issue that I can think of is that the gasoline gauge is broken. It costs an arm and a leg to get that fixed so I have used my trip mileage as a gauge and have never ran out of gas. Few minor bumps and scratches as well. Asking 2000 but I am reasonable.
