I was going to throw a set of knobby 31´s on it and have a little more practical daily driver as opposed to my other one on 33´s but since times got tough and I have more love for my other one (I built it from the ground up) I am selling the niner. I´m a ZJ nut of sorts if you can´t tell! My loss is your gain however because this black beast is awesome!This sexy grand cherokee started life as an optioned out 4.0. Not long ago the motor, transmission and axles were all swapped with parts from a 98 grand cherokee 5.9! The grand cherokee 5.9 was a special edition in 98 only and its truly the king of the jeeps. It was the worlds fastest SUV until the porsche cayenne came out! This motor with its custom cam, advanced timing curve and electric fan put out more power than any other 5.9 (360 c.u in.) motor chrysler ever produced!There are 223k miles on the body. Overall though, the body and interior are in great shape. You would never guess that´s how many miles are on it by looking at it. There is very little rust anywhere. You just don´t see these things this rust free. The leather seats are in good shape. The fronts have some wear but nothing major, the rear seats are in very good shape. Inside its very clean for its age but does have some minor flaws as you might expect from a ZJ. The headliner sags in a couple places, The passenger side seat heater works and the drivers side works too but is very weak. It has the am/fm CD/Cassette infinity system . Besides the couple minor things she is a very solid and in good shape jeep. I can´t stress that enough, come see it for yourself and you will see what I mean!The body is in pretty good shape but has a few dings here and there. There are a few spots where the clear coat is showing a bit but really it looks pretty dang good. Nothing really major, basically just the normal things you would expect to see on a well taken care of vehicle of this age. The drivers door and tailgate were replaced at some point so the pinstriping doesn´t quite match there. It has a niner grill on it but its somewhat cracked and beat up. I don´t personally mind it but I can throw in a decent condition chrome grill with it if you want. I have just left the grill as it is because its a fairly uncommon part. The rear bumper and side skirts are also 5.9 pieces. I realize the silver looks a bit odd at first glance but it doesn´t really look bad in person and you can always paint them or be really cool and replace them with steel!The drive train came mostly from a wrecked 98 5.9 that a tree fell on and bent the roof in. The motor has a little over 100k on it and runs beautifully! The transmission is from the same 5.9 and it is a low milage remanned unit that shifts like brand new. The motor and trans are butter, everything is smooth and well maintained. I have all the records for the niner that the parts came from. The axles were swapped over as well, but when I got the jeep the rear end was grinding pretty bad so I swapped it out with another. Its still a dana 44 but not a niner axle anymore. I still have the niner axle and I will throw it in for free if you want it. The LSD in the niner axle works great, it still has the HD yoke, and there are brand new wheel bearings in it. The jeep is running 3.73 gears.The Jeep also has a nice 4 inch lift on it. No pucks or spacers, its all full coils with aftermarket control arms. It also has a flowmaster exhaust that sounds awesome on it! Seriously, everybody who hears this thing comments on how mean it sounds. Its not obnoxious and it doesn´t drone or make the inside of the cabin loud at all but she´ll growl if you want it to!The transfer case is the 242 selec-trac so you can switch from 2x4 to 4x4 on the fly! All the v8 grand cherokee´s came from the factory with the junk 249 quadra-trac full time 4wd t-case so with the 242 in there you gain a lot more fun and reliability!The jeep runs and drives great. Its a ton of fun and would be perfect for anybody looking for a jeep or a great platform to build a bad ass wheeler. Don´t buy that tin can XJ or that rough riding wrangler! Buy this ZJ and bask in the luxury, ride quality, and on/offroad performance that only a grand cherokee can provide! I can´t stress enough how solid this thing is.
