Details: This Jeep is a 1989 Cherokee four door with the 4.0 inline six and a five speed manual trans. This vehicle is a go anywhere beast. It has a fully custom suspension that is composed of 1978 full size bronco axles. The rear is a 31 spline Ford 9 inch with a mini spool installed for full traction. The front is a high pinion Dana 44 with an Aussie Locker and Superwinch locking hubs. The front suspension is a custom radius arm setup with uniballs at the pivot end. The steering is all 1.75 DOM tube with .25 inch wall thickness. The ends are .75 inch chromoly heim joints. The two rear tires are brand new BFG KM2 mud terrains. The front tires are BFG KM1 mud terrains that have about 70 % tread left. The spare is a BFG KM1 that is brand new and all tires are 35 12.5 R15 on steel rims. This jeep is an offroad monster and would not make a good daily driver. As is evident in the pictures, the sheet metal does have some dents and dings. The air intake is also a custom snorkel setup. Details: I have a 1994 Jeep Wrangler 5 speed, 4cyl 2.5L with a spring over axle lift (done professionally) with 35´ tires. I love this Jeep. It does amazing off-road. The 4cyl is not a problem when in 4 hi or low. On the highway, I do an average of 60-65 mph even with the big tires. It also gets around 17mpg which is amazing compared to others who get a lot worse. I´ve driven this from Prescott to Phoenix countless times. I even drove this from Prescott AZ to Austin TX and back with no issues. Here´s what I´ve done:Electric fan conversion with switch (I removed the mechanical fan. I have rarely had to turn this on. The only time it needs to be on is when 4 wheeling slowly)External fuel pump with switchPut on external fog lights (although they kinda suck for power)Gas tank conversion (from a 15 gallon to a 20 gallon)Added a locking consoleUpgraded the throttle body from the original to a 4.0Added two Smittybilt seatcoversOverhead speakers (it already had a CD player with removable face)The original owner was the one who lifted it, but it was done right. So it´s never had the death wobble or any other problems that come with a lift done by a beginner in their garage.I have all the original receipts from the other owner.The soft top is in decent condition. It has the soft door tops, a rear seat and carpet (it´s not in the best shape, so I have it out right now for summer, but new carpet is fairly cheap.)The reason I am selling it is the transmission is going to need to be rebuilt. The third gear went out. It drives fine and lately I have just been shifting from 2nd to 4th. Basically this means that you can drive it around town, but driving down to Phoenix wouldn´t be a good idea. I just can´t afford to fix it and it makes me sad haha So I´m hoping someone will be able to fix it and enjoy it as much as I do.Feel free to contact me for more photos or ask questions.
