Details: this jeep is my baby. but i am going to UTI in avondale in july and cannot afford to take the jeep with me and do not want to let it sit here in town in my dad´s backyard for 2 years. i built it to be driven daily and driven to the trail and then home. i would much rather it be driven by someone else then nobody at all. these jeep has a hard top and locking doors, as well as carpeted floors and a custom console. the seats are comfortable but could use a little love as they are finally showing their age. but i detail cars with my father and we do nothing but exceptional work so i take care of it as much as i can. recently just added limo tint to the back windows and one stage past legal on the doors helps a lot with heat in summer!details:1977 jeep cj-7motor:amc 304 v8 stock motorbrand new water pump, new alternator,new starter,new distributor, and new timing chain and gears,and last month i put on a new master cylinder and replaced the front brake pads and added new warn premium manual hubs.the radiator was recently gone through and cleaned out cost me $100 ready for the hot weather. just put a new huge fan on it the other day.drivetrain:all 1982 ´widetrack´ drivetrain behind transmission which is a turbo 400 which was just recently rebuilt ground up by get it in gear transmission in july of 2011.coming off of the new transmission is a nearly new high angle custom length drive shaft. made for extreme angles and no vibrations at high speeds.it has the stock dana 30 up front and model 20 in the rear. except...the front has updated chromoly shafts and has a tru-trac posi locker. the rear has a detroit locker, has been trussed for strength and as well contains one-piece chromoly shafts.both containing 4:56 gears. with the dana 300 transfer case you can get out and walk faster than this thing.wheels and tires:it´s sitting on american racing wheels with fairly new superswamper 33x14x15 tires. these things are awesome!rides smooth and rolls right on down the road. front end:steering has custom 1 1/4´ DOM wall tube in the steering with heim joints at both ends.the jeep has two custom built bumpers for great looks and strength. the front is removable but the back is welded into place.for more info call and maybe set a time to come see it! there is so much i have left out i know there is but there´s a summary.928-830-nine-nine-0-seventhe names david call after 11am weekdays. text anytimewill take any offer into consideration and maybe some trades for a small car plus cash. ask me any offer the worst i could say is no. thanksthe pic below is the only pic i have from a car show a year ago. will send more via text if need be. i am asking $7000 it´s worth about 8500 or 9000. i am willing to negotiate with reasonable offers and maybe take partial trades for a small honda civic but only a partial no straight trades. thanks! Details: 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 automatic manual windows and door locks 187,000 mileWhats good. Straight body with good condition stock green paint. Stock height has not been lifted yet. Newer motor with about 50,000 miles (have receipts) Transmission has had about $1200 of repairs(receipts). New heater core. A/C works no leaks. Front axle seals have been replaced. New radiator fan and fan shroud. recently flushed radiator and new thermostat (never overheated just got warm if you were wondering). Both front wheel bearings, brake calipers, rotors, and pads replaced. Two new rear 30x9.5x15 tires. Had an alignment about 4,000 miles ago. A lot of stuff has been fixed or replaced to make this a daily driver for my wife. What needs work. Small oil leak, drips a spot about the size of a dime ever time you park. Pinion seal that was just replaced is leaking(easy fix) Needs front tires, current ones are usable but need replacement. Window tint needs to be redone. Transmission flex plate needs to be replaced quoted about $500 parts and labor(part is $80). Exhaust mount missing around the transmission. I have the part just have not installed. Transmission mount needs to be replaced about $40 bucks and easy job. This has been an adult owned, daily driver for my wife for about 2 years. She is now driving 87 miles a day. Do not want to get rid of it but need something that gets better gas mileage. Perfect vehicle for daily driver or off road project. Most every expensive repair has been done and should be a good vehicle for many many more miles.Email, call, or text is ok. Please make offer, worst I can say is no if I don´t like it. The tire size and wheel dimensions are unchanged from OE, so the gearing and speedometer read-out is accurate. The tires have been driven ~6K miles, and the spare has been rotated in already.The truck originally came with a hard top, but the original owner sold it and picked up an OE soft top instead. The vehicle still has all the factory controls and wiring for the hard top (rear washer, wiper, and defroster) if you´re inclined to purchase a hard top. The soft top is in good shape with no rips, tears, or cuts. The vinyl windows are in good shape, too. The quick-release knuckles allow you to completely remove the soft top without any tools.The truck was bought Certified Used from CarMax in Avondale last October, and I´ve driven it about <7K miles since. It has a standard cab, short bed and a working 4 wheel drive.It has a manual transmission, did not come from the factory with A/C, but can be easily converted by using parts from a XJ (Cherokee). The heater and the vent/fan work well.There are 158,XXX miles on the motor, a Box A CLEAR title. I bought this truck for my girlfriend as her daily driver, but she feels more comfortable driving her automatic instead... so it´s got to go. It comes with 30´ Rocky Falken all-terrain tires (still under warranty at Discount Tire), black rims and has a 2´ shackle lift. The fenders were cut by the previous owner. We have had absolutely no problems in driving this...it shifts great, clutch is good, starts good, easy to drive. These Comanches can be pretty hard to find, especially ones that are both 4x4 and a manual transmission. The interior is in decent condition with the factory interior still. On the outside, there´s a little bit of surface rust here and there, but almost all of it is gone now. There is no bedliner in the truck, so it is kind of rough on the inside of the bed. The tailgate opens and closes fine, doesn´t rattle. Comes with a sliding back window in the back of the cab. This jeep truck gets 18-20 miles to the gallon, all ready to be a daily driver. It needs a new windshield and a motor mount. Does not leak. All the parts from the engine bay all the way to the end of the cab can be used off any XJ from 1984-2001 such as windshield, doors, A/C system, motor parts, etc. Price is negotiable, and trades may be accepted, but mainly looking for just cash. We will keep doing work on the Comanche until it sells.
