Details: SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY, PLEASE!4.0L inline V6 engine, 4x4, automatic transmission with 18 month warranty. 201,107 oringinal miles, Reese hitch towing package, JEEP rims with 4 good Michelin tires (LT235/75/R15 Radial), full-size spare and jack assembly stored under back passenger seat. It could use an alignment. The gas mileage isn´t too bad - 17 city/ 22 hwy. This is the best used car I´ve ever bought (purchased it in August, 2011). It has extraordinary cargo space, seats 5 comfortably and has proven to me why Jeep Cherokees are known for durability and stamina. This Jeep is great off-road too!Grey cloth interior, 60/40 split backseat folds down for extended cargo space, floor mats, power steering, windows, mirrors and locks, cruise control, AM/FM radio, CD player, a/c works great, tinted windows, center console has: a storage compartment under the arm rest, dual cup holders, emergency brake, gear shifter and the 4-wheel drive control/gear shift.There are a couple areas where the paint is peeling and a small dent on the rear lift gate, passenger side. The hydralic arms for the rear lift gate can be replaced for less than $20/ea (need 2). I just use a pvc pipe and prop it open when needed. I by-passed the heater core because it had a leak in that area of the engine. After doing so, I realized the leak wasn´t from the heater core, it was coolant leaking from the resevoir tank, it´s cracked. The salvage yards in this area will have one, you´d just need to pull-n-pay. The heater blows cool air, but the by-pass can be undone @ ~ $40, restoring heat to the interior heater. The battery needs to be replaced soon, it appears it was installed in 2008! Other than what I´ve explained above, EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS GREAT!There´s a Kenwood amp and 12´ competition subwoofer in a custom box currently connected to the audio system wiring running to the engine´s battery(monster cable) and radio. I´m keeping the amp/box/speaker, but will leave the moderately concealed wiring in place.I have the clean title in hand. Asking $1,800 cash, obo. This price is below the average asking price for very similar Jeep Grand Cherokees currently listed on CL because I´m looking to get a newer car as soon as possible because my daily work commute is 2 hours round-trip and I need better gas mileage. If I had the means to keep it insured and have a car for primary transportation, I would keep it for an extra vehicle. However, I need the cash to purcase a newer, smaller, more economical car.I´ve been completely honest about my Jeep, my reasons to sell at a low price and I expect the same honesty from any interested parties. I have owned my Jeep for 15 years and know it well. It has a well-maintained engine that fires right up and hums, a sound and rust-free underbody, a cold AC, and four new all-season tires (only 10-15 miles on them). Kelley (kbb.com) puts the value of this Jeep at $2,100. You can find them retailing up to $3,000. I am selling mine for $1,650, because mine is not so pretty. For instance, the body has dings/scratches here-and-there; the hood paint has oxidized (accidentally left the hood open in the picture, incidentally); the mirrors need repair (electronics are fine); the interior has been freshly cleaned, but still has some paint on the back seat´s cloth (could probably pull this off); the radio is not working at present. In brief, it needs some basic cosmetic and mechanical attention. If you know Jeep´s, you know this one is durable, has a lot of get-up-and go, and is a reliable work truck/recreational vehicle. I pay 75 a month.Has A/c no heatPerfect auto trans Exterior overall is a 9 out of 10 with just a little paint fade on the roof which is a little hard to see with the 3 inch lift. Also has a little dent on the driver door from the dumb previous owner bumping there butt against the door to close it. Can be easily pulled with those suction cups I just never really bothered. Otherwise the exterior is in amazing shape.Interior is about a 7.75 out of 10. Has vinyl / tan leather interior. (Very easy to clean) has after market CD player with iPod cord and after market speakers. Also a 600Watt power inverter that you can plug wall plugs into.both front seats seams are ripped could be fixed with a needle and fishing twine if it really bothers you. There´s no ash Trey and the headliner is recovered.Recent maintainance ( last 8 months) New radiator water pump both radiator hoses thermostat serpentine belt valve cover gasket spark plugs and wires distributor cap and rotor front brake pads front shocks steering system ( track bar, steering stabilizer, all 4 tie rods, both adjusting sleeves) rear wheel cylinders Oil change about 1000 miles ago with castrol high mileageThis Jeep has 213k miles but I cannot stress how reliable this Jeep is. It is very well maintained and loved and runs excellent. I´m only selling it because I am looking to purchase a 240sx. And finish my project Corvette.
