The 4wd works great, just never got around to installing the new shifter arm. KBB value says between $19,164 and $16,914. Items replaced in lasttwo months: front control arms and bushings,front adj. track bar and bushings. swaybar end link bushings,shocks (designed for the lift) motor mounts, brand new(less than 100 miles) goodyear wrangler duratracs. These tires were $800 alone. just had front end alignment done at stiltners auto. Just inspected with a 413 sticker. There is no front drive shaft in it....it was a factory cv style shaft and didnt hold up in 4low with the lift. There is nothing wrong with the transfercase or the front axles. You can replace it with a stronger drive shat that will hold up to the lift from carolina driveline.com for around $250 shipped to your door. You can still drive it everyday without the front driveshaft with no issues. you just wont have 4x4. I have driven it this way for well over a year with no problems. The factory transfercase has been swapped out for a better and stronger np231 transfercase. Instead of just having all time 4x4 you now have 4lo,4hi,and 2wd. i will only accept cash. Details: This jeep is good for anything it is my daily driver all that´s wrong is the speedometer doesn´t work and 1stand2nd gear syncronizers goin bad but other than that a good jeep it has 33s and 9inches of lift tires in good condition no rust it has a 8.8 rear end 4x4 works great tires still have good tread and the 1stand 2nd gear syncronizers have been goin bad since I´ve had it but it drives good and runs great I bought it for four and put a brand new top with tinted back windows on it and some interior stuff so I´m selling it for $5000 i will trade if its rite too thanks names Danny call or text me at 7572896801. Details: I´m selling my 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It has been a fun project, but it´s time to pass on the project to someone else. Price is fair and less than what I have into it, so serious inquiries only please. Will update with pictures in the next several days. Email me if interested. Mileage is 202k. Good:-Body is solid. I installed floor pan, rocker, and new rear quarter patches. These were my first attempts at body work, not show ready at all, but better than the holes that used to be there.-4x4 works.-Tires have plenty of tread, not new though.-All power windows work, including the tailgate.-360 V8 runs fairly well. The truck has a throttle body injection style Holley EFI setup installed by the previous owner. There is a small controller mounted under the dash that allows tuning for the system. Could stand for a little more tweaking, but runs pretty well as currently setup.-Interior isn´t bad for it´s age. However, the driver´s seat has heavy wear and the bottom portion of the driver´s door panel is missing. Power driver´s seat still works.New in last 2 years:-Complete vinyl flooring kit installed.-Alternator.-Water Pump.-Brake Calipers & Pads on Front.-Brake shoes and soft/hard lines from proportioning valve to rear drums. -Window seals on front doors. To be included with sale:6´ lift kit including only springs, shocks, and hardware. I paid $200 for this setup, used. Brand of leaf springs is unknown. Generic steering stabilizer arm. For $130 more, I´ll include a stereo setup I was going to install that includes a generic set of mid range speakers (total: 4), 12w04 JL Audio 12´ subwoofer in sealed box, Audiobahn 4 channel amp, model A600X, and an Aiwa head unit with remote and aux input. Bad:-Paint is done. No way to put it nicely. -Slight frame rust near driver´s rear leaf spring mount.-There is a slow drain somewhere in the electrical system.-Passenger side vent window is badly rusted and inoperable. Will likely need to source a replacement through a junkyard.-Brake proportioning valve is leaking badly. Easy fix, part is $90 at BJs Offroad. This makes driving the vehicle difficult. I would suggest only driving this vehicle home from sale if you live close by and can take low speed secondary roads.
