Details: 1997 Jeep Wrangler SE 2.5 liter 5-speed manual. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned, and it pains me to sell it, but I have moved out of state and I don´t really need it anymore. This Jeep spent most of its time in Washington state and Arizona (no salt on the roads in the winter), so it has no rust on the body or undercarriage. I´ve owned it for 3 years, and other than a new drive belt, plugs and wires when i first got it, the only repair it has needed is a new water pump and thermostat. It has new door skins, a Pioneer CD player, grill cover, head and tail light guards and aftermarket bumper mounted fog lights. It has 109,000 miles and not a hint of clutch or transmission problems: shifts smoothly and doesn´t pop out of or miss gears. The Kelley Blue Book value is $5443, but I am asking for $4,000 because there are a few simple repairs that could be made: The back gate is dented, and i´m not sure if it opens or not, but the top can still be put up and down easily. When I bought it, I took it to a repair shop so they could look it over. The only problem they found was a crack in the exhaust manifold. They quoted me $300 for them to fix it, but said it wasn´t necessary. This makes it sound a little chuggy and sometimes causes the check engine light to come on (I checked the code, and it is for the downstream O2 sensor). The top and tires are sound, but may need replacing in the next year or two. If you have any questions, I´d be more than happy to answer any of them I can. Details: 2600 is the asking price for this great runner I know im going to regret selling my baby. I recently acquired a job in indianapolis an hour away and absolutely MUST sell so i can get a 4 cylinder thats cheaper on gas. If i didnt work an hour away i would definitely not be selling my jeep. This jeep is a GREAT runner. Its has 190k miles those are all highway miles back and forth to indianapolis. It has been well maintained oil changed every 2500 miles have kept up on all maintenance the moment something went wrong. Its loaded leather seats power everything all wheel drive 4x4 great for those people who live in the country on bad back roads around winter. It has tires with a thousand miles on them still new. No body damage this jeep is super nice i dont want to sell but its costing me too much gas to drive 2 hours everyday. Im going to use the money to buy a smaller car. I will accept reasonable offers but do not low ball me and my hardearned money. I am selling 400 dollars under blue book price this jeep will not last long it is a great car and has been very dependable for me. Oil was changed 600 miles ago. There is a sunroof heated seats fm cd player its a v8 5.2 ltr and yes it does run like a champ.
