Details: Up for grabs is one of my two ZJ´s. If you are looking for a jeep then look no further because this is the one you want!Its a 97 grand cherokee that started life as an optioned out 4.0. Recently the motor, transmission and axles were all swapped with parts from a 98 grand cherokee 5.9! The grand cherokee 5.9 was a special edition in 98 only and its truly the king of the jeeps. It was the worlds fastest SUV until the porsche cayenne came out! Theres 223k on the body. Overall though, the body and interior are in great shape. You would never guess thats how many miles are on it by looking at it. There is very little rust anywhere. The leather seats are in good shape. The fronts have some wear but nothing major, the rear seats are in very good shape. Inside its very clean for its age but does have some minor flaws as you might expect from a ZJ. The headliner sags in a couple places, The passenger side seat heater works and the drivers side works too but is very weak. It has the infinity system and great working factory am/fm CD/cassette player. Besides the couple minor things she is a very solid and in good shape jeep. I can´t stress that enough, come see it for yourself and you will see what I mean!The drivetrain is mostly from a wrecked 98 5.9 that a tree fell on and bent the roof in. The motor has a little over 100k on it and runs great! The transmission is from the same 5.9 and it is a low milage remanned unit that shifts like new. The axles were swapped over as well, but when I got the jeep the rear end was grinding pretty bad so I swapped it out with another. Its still a 44a but not a niner axle anymore. I still have the niner axle and I will throw it in for free if you want it. The LSD in the niner axle works great, it still has the HD yoke, and there are brand new wheel bearings in it. The jeep also has a flowmaster exhaust that sounds awesome!The body is in pretty good shape but has a few dings here and there. There are a few spots where the clear coat is showing a bit but really it looks pretty dang good. The drivers door and tailgate were replaced at some point so the pinstriping doesn´t quite match there. It has a niner grill on it but its somewhat cracked and beat up. I don´t personally mind it but I can throw in a decent condition chrome grill with it if you want. It has the 242 selec-trac transfer case in it still so you can go into 2wd or 4wd. This is fun because all the v8 grand cherokees came with fulltime 4x4 from the factory. With the 242 in there you can still have that tire roasting 2wd drive if you want it or you can put it into 4 wheel drive and go anywhere!The Jeep also has about a 4 inch lift on it comprised of lower control arms and full coils. The jeep runs and drives great. Its a ton of fun and would be perfect for anybody looking for a jeep or a great platform to build a bad ass wheeler. I can´t stress enough how solid this thing is. Come see it in person and I promise you will be impressed.I´m right off the interestate in South Beloit so its an eaaasy drive. I´m looking for $3500 obo. Price is negotiable so make me an offer! Details: Its a nice solid SUV. It has average wear small scratches on the body but I think most can be buffed out. Really it needs a full interior/exterior detail job. the rear bumper has a couple cracks in it. No dents in it tho and no rust. Its an automatic with 4 wheel drive and the 4.7L V8. Runs great, has lots of power, easily tows my 21ft boat. Engine is very smooth and responsive, transmission shifts smooth, 4x4 works great. Has leather interior, power windows/locks, keyless entry. No rips or tears in the seats, nice factory stereo system with built in infinity amp. Interiors pretty dirty but I might get it cleaned out this week if i get time. The truck runs smooth and doesnt leak or burn any oil, has newer alternator. The AC needs to be recharged. Have a clear title for it ready to golooking to trade for another vehicle possibly.
