I am getting out of the army and need to sell it. There is one issue with it but hasn´t been a real problem. About five percent of the time when you let out on the clutch slowly when in first gear, the shifter pops out and into neutral. I´ve heard it may be a loose fork or it may be a synchro. I don´t know for sure because it hasn´t bothered me so much that I wanted to get it looked at. I took the two panels on the roof off for the pictures. Asking 21,000. There are some amazing off-road sights we´ve seen in her Jeep, especially down at South Point and Green Sands, but all we need is the one Jeep with gas being soooo high. It doesn´t do terrible on Gas, 16mpg town driving, I average 19mpg, but my driving is straight from Kailua Kona to Captain Cook, basically a nice little highway drive. It currently cost $80 to fill up at $4.58 a gallon, which was the most current price at Costco, and being near empty. There is also a dent in the front driver side bumber, received shortly after moving here. Nothing major but worth noting, the front view of the Jeep shows the damage. I love this Jeep and everything about the Jeep life, but it´s time to just roll with one. I owe $36,000 still for the Jeep, so any offers should be very close to asking price. The price is from nada.com which valued it at $37,350 and Kelly Blue Book valued at $33,960, so this is the in-between price, which I feel is a fair price for the Hawaii market. The exterior Is straight with only a passenger door ding and needing a new paint job to be perfect. The engine is a V-6 and has factory dual exhaust. It runs good once started. It has a new battery, cables, stereo, alternator, water pump, and a new carburetor. The only problems it has is I can´t get the automatic choke to work. I believe it is a vacuum issue, and the passenger´s electric window won´t open. The tires have are almost new and the 4x4 works good on my lawn, we have never had it offroad.
