Details: Up for sale is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. It runs, but is not inspected. It needs a new exhaust system to pass inspection (the old one can come with it, but was taken off with the intent of replacing, but I´ve run out of time and have too many projects). Transmission also slips from time to time, probably just needs a tune up. Engine was just ´rebuilt´ (new insides replaced the head with a head from a 1999, same block), rear axle gears were replace and redone as well. Body is in decent shape for the year, a little rust on the corners at the top of the hatch, has been sanded and filled in with putty (needs sanded, primed, painted yet...) and was involved in an accident with previous owner (shown in picture, all body damage nothing else.)This would make a good off-roading project. Alloy wheel including the spare tire which is a full size spare mounted on a matching alloy wheel. Both front bucket seats are adjustable with push button controls. It has air conditioning which is very cold and the heat and all the vents work correctly. Tires are matching P225/75 R16 Good Year Wrangler radials with OK tread (will need replacement soon).
