Details: I am selling my 1988 Jeep Comanche 194,000 miles. It is a 1988 Comanche Chief with Renix 4.0 I6, AX-15 swap,NP203, Dana 30 front and Dana 44 Rear, 3:07 gears I believe and a locker, but unsure of make on locker. It has spring over in rear, and 4.5 coil lift and 2´ spacers. It has 33´ Goodyear MTR Kevlars on it. It has a red top Optima battery. Included in the asking price is a new 6.5´+ 3 link X factor long arm kit from RockKrawler, this is the newly designed kit and one of the best out there for the Comanche. The lift includes the long arms, bracketry, mounting hardware. The lift is for the Comanche specifically, will not work with the XJ Cherokee. I have swapped the 97+ front end and fenders on and side mirrors. Also included in the asking price is a set of clean doors from 97 and up complete with glass, electronics etc. and two nice shape 33´ Swamper TSLs. The truck has been well maintained and never let me down. I use full synthetic oil and reg. tuneups. The truck starts right up and runs great. The radiator just developed a small leak, and the water pump also just started to weep, so buyer will need to replace both of those items. It does not leak a lot, I just fill up the reservoir every other day right now, maybe a half gallon or so. If truck doesn´t sell right away, I will fix these two items and increase my asking price a little bit. The paint is faded, and will need a new paint job and some minor body work to be perfect, but is pretty clean. It has no a/c. It also has cracks in pass. side windshield and if buyer wants it right away will need to be responsible for smog, I can not get to it until this weekend. Interior is not abused, but has normal rips in drivers seat, stains, etc. The headliner is all new with overhead console, professionally done with lighted vanity visors. Wires are pre-ran to a series of carling switches. Just mount switches,wire to relays and accessories and you have a cool over head switch panel. Clean title and Pink in hand. No low ball offers. I am willing to trade for a full size ford or chevy 4x4 with extra cab or quad cab. Preferably a 3/4 ton. These are getting nearly impossible to find in any kind of condition. Details: The Jeep Rubicon has been babied and NOT abused. Only a handful of hours off road. Got a few scratches and dings but hey its an off road vehicle technically. no dents. Only damage is the driver side mirror has the plastic housing chipped do to a big gust of wind blowing the door out of my hand and snapping the strap that holds the door open. The mirror banged against something causing it to get damaged. Other damage is a handle on the top of the hook was pulled off when i tried to tie a rope to it to secure a rubber boat that was attached to the roll bar on a camping trip. The handle was plastic and not made for practical use really. Could easily be replaced by a metal handle. Some extra features include a 5 disc cd changer and the sound system sounds really good considering its a jeep. Really enjoy taking off the hard top and doors and cruising in the summer. A real joy and the next best thing to a motorcycle as far as the free wind in your face feeling and much safer.I am the original owner, well my dad is. He bought it new off the lot in 2006 as a gift for my birthday. At the time I was a single man and a jeep is every guys dream right?!! haha but I really have grown out of it with two kids and will admit its not really the most practical family vehicle. Details: This is my 1974 CJ5 for sale. It is my daily driver. I used it for commuting to work as well as commuting to Search and Rescue and has never given me a problem. The previous owner towed it around and used it for hunting. He did lots of maintenance modifications to it such as boxing the frame, putting a T18 4 speed manual with a granny gear, upholstered the seats with tractor vinyl to prevent cracking and fading, and switching to stronger springs. I bought it from him about a year ago. Since then, I have had a SSBC disk brake conversion and master cylinder from Xtreme Offroad put on. It has extended steel braided brake lines from Superlift because I was going to do a spring over on it. I upgraded from the points system to a Billet HEI distributor and Accel 8.8mm plug wires. I replaced the clutch linkage system and upgraded the bushings and hardware because I heard that the cj5´s had a problem with the bellcrank. I took off all smog equipment because it doesn´t have to be smogged. I had straight pipes installed to exit behind the rear axle. Other accessories include a high lift jack mount and jack ( not shown in pic.), 20mm custom locking ammo can center console and 20mm locking ammo can rear storage box for trail gear or emergency equipment. It also has a gerry can mount and gerry can. The rear rack is heavy duty and has a 2´ receiver for a winch or extra cargo rack. This jeep has an amc 304 v8. I replaced the speedometer cluster and it shows just over 2K miles but had 180k on it before I replaced it. Right now the rear seat is out because I need the room for my search dog but it obviousely comes with the jeep. I have 2 speakers in back and a cd player that has an audio input jack for mp3 player. Cb radio and antenna.Soft top and bikini top. This is a solid rig and would be awesome with comp cut corners and some full width axles under it. I use the 4 wheel drive on a semi regular basis on varying terrain and it crawls great. This is an extremely reliable vehicle. Im back and forthe from shaver, Bass, Sequoia, and Madera to Fresno at least once a week on top of my work commute and it works great. Sounds awesome with the straight pipe! My wife and I are moving out of country at the end of the year so trying to liquidate all of our belongings. I may have left out a thing or two but check it out.
