Details: I am selling a 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ with the ´Islander´ options package. It includes a 4.2L inline 6cyl (105,000 original miles), 5 speed manual transmission, hard top, bikini soft top (covers rollbar to windshield, driver and passenger), completely detachable hard doors, and a clean title. I am not looking to mislead anyone, or waste their time. I had originally listed this as a repair/rebuild. However, after speaking with a knowledgable jeep guy, I am now basically selling this for parts. Reason being, the vehicle is not drivable due to a bad clutch and needing front end work. and the frame and undercarrige are in worse condition than I had originally thought (for a restoration). The engine runs fine. The interior, hood, doors, and hard top are in excellent condition for a vehicle of this age. The carburetor, master cylinder, exhaust, and tires were all replaced recently (meaning they have less than a year´s worth of driving on them). Several other parts under the hood were replaced within the past few years as well. I replaced the stock wheels with newer Jeep wheels, however still have the originals (they look like the spare on the back view), and the buyer can have them as well if they want.
