Details: Well. my wife said it´s time to sell the jeep. This is a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4, huge newer tires (worth more than I want to remember), black wheels, leather interior, tow package, great engine, great tranny. 202k miles. Runs amazing, with no strange things at all.Full Disclosure of Facts that Matter:I put a picture of the KBB Private Party Value (for some reason, some people in SE Idaho put the Retail value of their used cars, instead of Private Party Value)- As you can see, it´s at about 3,900 in excellent condition, and $3,500 for middle value.This vehicle is in good condition in many regards, with a few items that are not working great. They are:The master window controls (that operate all windows in the car) works great for all windows, but a couple of the passenger windows don´t go up and down from their individual control There is a couple of trim pieces missing on the exterior fendersThere is an oil leak (i personally feel like putting oil in every few weeks is easier than paying a mechanic to fix the leak..)There are a couple of trim pieces inside the car that are missing, but nothing crazyThe 4x4 low works great, the 4x4 works great as well, except sometimes if you´re going over 40-50 mph in 4x4 high, it will slip into neutral. I personally use 4x4 to go up hills, and don´t hangout in 4x4 high at high speeds, so wasn´t worth me paying to look into.The front window was just replaced, so is brand new!Moral of the story? The jeep books out at almost 4k through private party values, but since I need the money asap, I´m willing to let it go at a price similar to what a dealer would give me on a trade in.We just started a new business, and need the money to invest in the business more than we need this jeep (third car).First one with an acceptable cash offer, gets it. Details: $1,500 OBO. I hate to sell this, but I really need to get some cash flow. I have this 1954 M38A1 which is the military version of the CJ-5. I had big plans for this, my plan was to paint it olive drab, do the stars and everything, but it will have fuel injection and power steering. I have a 4.3 litre vortec v6 out of a 1993 Chevy Blazer adapted to the original transmission and twin-stick transfer case that were rebuilt. I put a brand new clutch in, new u-joints. The engine, transmission, transfer case is all mounted in, drivelines mounted, body bolted down. I was in the middle of a power steering swap, have all the parts, just don´t have it finished. I have a windshield frame with glass in it. This is a split windshield, very rare and hard to find. All that´s left is the steering put together (have all the parts for it), plug all the wiring in (have the wiring), mount the pedals in (have a set of swinging pedals for it), and bolt up the rest of the body. This is a great project, that´s mostly done. I have everything to finish, and a bunch of extra parts. Call me or text me at (208)201-8082.
