This doesnt effect anything and we have been driving it this way for over a year. If you have the time, and some minor knowledge this can be easily fixed.* The brakes are still in decent shape but could probably use some new brake pads* The drivers side door is out of line but still opens and shuts like it should. There is a noise when opening it but like I said it still operates normallyAll in all for a 1996 Jeep this is a good suv. Details: For sale we have my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. I absolutely love this Jeep but I am selling in order to pay off some debt from grad school. This jeep is ready to go for another 100,000 miles the way it sits. It can be driven anywhere and all maintenance has been performed when needed. I bought this jeep 2 years ago with 87,000 miles on it. It now has just over 110,000 miles on it and is sitting in my garage. I drove this jeep to Wilmington, NC and back about 2 months ago with no issues. Clean and clear title This Jeep is loaded with all power options, moon roof, power driver´s seat, aux port for an ipod, and many new parts. Wipers work, lights work, and cd player and radio work as they should. This Jeep also does not burn or leak any fluids. It starts, runs, and shifts perfectly. Non-smoker vehicle. Brakes are also solid. In the last 3 months, I have done the following work for 100,000 mile maintenance and other general maintenance (I have receipts for all maintenance and oil changes): * Blower resistor replaced 3 times - This blower resistor is what controls the speed at which AC/heat are blowing. When it goes out then they both only blow on high. The 1st two times I had this replaced the resistor melted. The 3rd time it was done, my mechanic called Chrysler and figured out they had redone this entire hook up on their jeeps because of this problem. I had my mechanic take care of this and it now works perfectly and the new blower resistor package that Chrysler has made for these Jeeps is installed. Heat and AC both work great now on all speeds. 1st resistor - $91.66 2nd resistor - $86.00 3rd resistor - $36.41 (I was credited for 2nd resistor and then $36.41 was the extra) * 100,000 mile Transmission Flush - $139.95 * 100,000 mile Radiator Flush - $74.95 * Hood Support - $33.09 * Brand New Muffler and Clamps - $340.35 (This muffler comes with a lifetime warranty. I also had the rest of the exhaust system checked out and was told that it looks solid. The hole that you see in the back bumper by the exhaust was caused by the tailpipe before the exhaust work was done. As I was driving to NC one of the clamps popped off and the weight pulled the muffler down and popped the tailpipe up. This burned the hole you see in the pictures in the bumper. I had all the clamps replaced so this will not be an issue again. * 2 Brand New Goodyear Integrity Rear Tires - $358.58 (Back tires literally have less than 100 miles on them and front tires are 60%) * Brand New Battery - $149.95 Grand Total - $1310.91 I have also had the oil changed every 3000-4000 miles with Maxlife oil at Valvoline. I have receipts for all these changes. 2nd and 3rd blower resistor, hood support, transmission flush, and radiator flush were all performed by my family mechanic of 15 years. Exhaust work was done by Monroe Muffler and Brakes. Tires were done by a certified Goodyear shop. Battery was purchased and installed by a AAA mechanic due to the jeep not starting at Whole Foods because of a very dead battery. I have taken care of this Jeep like it was my baby. Anything needing done I always had done. All the maintenance performed is typically what would need to be done around 100,000 on any car. I did it all around 105,000. PLEASE DO NOT GET FOOLED INTO BUYING A CAR AT AROUND THIS MILEAGE THAT HASN´T HAD THE WORK DONE TO IT. YOU WILL END UP HAVING TO PUT $1500-$2000 MORE INTO IT ON TOP OF YOUR PURCHASE COST. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or text me. There is a small chip here or there in the paint of the jeep which I have pictured. There is also the hole in the back bumper which I discussed. There are also a couple of stains here or there on the interior. Honestly, these stains are from water. For some reason, the material in these jeeps do not dry how a typical interior would. This jeep is well worth the $8199, especially because of the $1500 I have put into it recently. If I hadn´t done that work I would have been happy to sell this jeep for $7500 and let the buyer pay for the repairs. I am saving the buyer time and money by having that done already. Feel free to compare my price with the work already done to this jeep to any other one on craigslist and you can feel confident that you are getting the best deal here. I have nothing to hide and will be completely honest with any questions. $8199 is my bottom dollar. I can´t even believe I have gone that low but I seriously won´t take a penny less so do not waste your time if you don´t want to pay $8199 cash. You can move on to a piece of crap Jeep with none of the repairs done to it if you want to pay less than what I am selling this for. I am so far below KBB and NADA right now it isn´t funny.
