Details: 1983 AMC Jeep CJ 7 4x4 Hardtop. 283 6 cyl., 4 speed manual transmission, 66,xxx miles, power steering, new alternator, new exhaust, new battery, newer tires, fresh oil change. Runs strong,sounds good, drives straight, shifts smooth, Etc. Has a Myers 6 1/2 ft power angle plow that works fantastic.The Bad First: The jeep is 29 years old and is in pretty good shape for the year, knowing what I have seen out there. It does have the Northeast ´typical Jeep rust´. Floor boards (driver and passenger side have been replaced), around the rear tailgate hinges (bondoed),around the windshield frame (bondoed), bottom of doors (bondoed) and the gas tank skid plate protector is almost gone and should be replaced.. (PLEASE LOOK at PICS!) The frame has surface rust as much of the underneath does. It was apparently undercoated at one time in its life which I imagine helped to preserve from rot. I have always threw a fresh coat of spray paint on to minimize the rust from spreading.The horn is not hooked up (when the power steering was installed never bothered to hook up) The fuel gauge works sometimes (its gotta mind of its own) the emergency brake does not function and will need new cables and hardware.The radio works but I have removed the speakers (they are not included).The Good: The Jeep runs fantastic and is very strong, Idols well, It shifts thru the gears effortlessly, has a ton of torque,and can still chirp the tires thru the gears.It had a tune up approx . 2 years ago (new plugs,wires,distributor,cap,belts,fluids, etc.) The alternator is new, the battery is new, the power steering setup is new, the tires are new (approx 1000 miles), the exhaust pipe and muffler are new,wipers are new. The 4x4 works great (manual hubs) and transfer case shift smooth. All of the gauges and lights work including the plow lights (minus the fuel gauge mentioned above). Has amazing heat, and has edelbrock manual choke for those cold mornings.I have also added a tachometer on top of the steering colum which works great.The Plow was installed about 2 years ago: I think I have plowed with it maybe 5 times total. I never did any commerical plow jobs just my small gravel driveway and my Mothers driveway. It works great, has tremendous down pressure and operates flawlessly.I have some additional diamond plate parts not yet installed. One piece to go along the bottom of the windshield where the wiper arms are , and one piece to go on the tailgate where the hinges are. (I personally love that rugged look of diamond plate...can ya tell? lol) they are included in sale.Payment: I have a clear PA title in hand. Payment to be made in Cash in person upon pickup. I Stress CASH ONLY....Shipping: Buyer is responsible for pickup and or all shipping cost. I will NOT deliver. I would not recommend driving long distances with the plow attached. In the past 3 months i´ve put a brand new Rough Country 2.5´ suspension lift, jeep seat covers, stainless steel brake lines completely throughout including the 4´ stainless steel braided extensions all from Classic Tube, 31x10.5x15 meaty tires, pioneer speakers in dash and sound bar, and few other things... Runs like a champ with a 2.5 4cyl and 410 gears in front and rear and 5 spd man trans. Body has 122k but motor has 48k. Comes with soft top but it needs a back zipper window, 2 piece targa hard top. Cleans up nice but does have a few cosmetic flaws like small dent in right rear corner and right fender. Possible trades for harley (no 883´s), nice cruiser bike, 1000cc rocket, quad atv plus cash, 4x4 truck and cash. NO SPAMERS! Call/text 6o7six 2 four71nine3...
