Details: I am selling my ´87 Jeep Wrangler YJ with 4.2 inline 6 with a little almost 143k miles on it.Let me start by saying that I bought this jeep as a fixer upper, just to have something cruise around in and enjoy the summer (I had no plans of wheeling). However, I started a new job and am now on shift work and do not have the time to work on it like I had planned. It is an 87 and has some dings in it. I tried to show them in the pictures as best as I could. The front fenders are pushed up a little bit, the hood has some minor dings, and the driver side rocker has a rolling dent (if that makes sense) about a foot in length. The tub is rust free. There is a couple of spots of rust on the windshield frame. I had planned on just buying a new frame before I had it painted. However I have been told that the rust on the windshield frame can be repaired no problem. It has a spice colored bestop supertop with full soft doors in good condition. I also have a set of steel half doors that I just purchase for it they are brand new with new panels. I had planned on having the doors painted with the jeep at a later date.The inside of the tub is rhino lined. It doesnt have a radio in it right now. I installed a temporary set of gauges (Temp, Oil PSI, Voltmeter). I planned on eventually moving them in place of the electrical gauges in the dash. The jeep is lifted 4´ and has a set of 33´x12.50´ BF Goodrich KM1´s on it (in fair shape). When I bought it, it had a locked dana 44 in it. I opted to replace it with a stock 4.10 geared dana 35 open diff (for better ride). It does have disc brakes in the rear and an e350 mastercylinder pushing them. I still have the dana 44 that can go with it for a little extra $$.I took out the BA10 transmssion right after buying it and replaced it with an AX15 trans. I purchase the ax15 trans in unknown condition and planned on doing a full rebuild, but when I opened it up the bearings looked like they were in good shape so I just replaced the synchros and seals. However, Fifth gear has an issue that i havnt diagnosed yet. It pops out of gear upon decelerating, but will stay in if you hold the stick before letting off of the gas. With the 4.10 gear I really never use fifth gear so I really never worried about it. I planned on installing an fresh trans in it this coming winter.I put new bearings and seals in the transfer case (np231) only because I had to put a new input shaft in it to mate with the AX15 trans. Easy to replace but the part is about $150 brand new.The A/C does not work. So getting the windows working would be a priority.There is damage to the front end that was pseudo-repaired years ago. Car has been running great for many years since but the radiator is starting to fail and needs replacing. It still drives but heat will spike while the engine is warming up, this is because the coolant isn´t cycling effectively at first.If you are near the area, you could definitely drive it home. In its current condition we have used it occasionally for trips to the store and such. I wouldn´t advise driving it really far until the seal is fixed, as the car will ´hiccup´ at you.She isn´t the belle of the ball, but with a little love she could be awesome again.
