Details: I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9 (Rare edition). This means that it has the 5.9 (360) v8 with 46RE auto transmission and AWD qudra-trac transfer case. This jeep is in great shape! Zero rust!!! It has new tires, just did a tune up as well which includes plugs, cap/rotor, air filter, pcv, oil/filter change, transmission filter/fluid change, front diff lube. It does need need some minor work though. I bought thinking I would lift it and turn it into an off road rig, but after looking at the condition, I´ve decided I should sell it to someone who may want to keep it stock and have a better use for this rare jeep. It currently has 124K miles. Everything works on the jeep with the exception of the driver´s side heated seat. It will need brake rotors as they pulse when slowing. The battery is a bit out dated as well, still works fine, just would recommend swapping and replacing cable ends. I can perform the work needed to get this rig 100% for parts/labor cost or you can buy it as is and drive home and work on it when you have time! Super rare jeep that is a blast to drive!!Well I just got done doing quite a bit of work on the ZJ. I had to replace the timing cover gasket. That was the coolant leak! So pretty much tear into the whole front half of the engine. I also then decided to while I was at it to add a Hughes plenum plate (common problem for 5.9). So it has all new gaskets and seals on the top/front of the engine more or less. I also changed out t-stat, water pump, some misc hoses, has a new harmonic balancer, and idler pulley, valve cover gaskets, and I´m sure there is more I´m missing. Also replaced the fuel sending unit with a Bosch style - $240 and added Ford 24# injectors - $120. Now the jeep still needs to have the brakes looked at. I will keep tinkering with the jeep when I get time. I have lowered the price to compensate for the work required. I´m asking $4,500. I was going to do an LS conversion, so I started disassembling it, sold the 2.5 ltr 4 cyl that was in it, but ran out of time and patience to continue the project. It is a 1994... it is not perfect by any means, but it still is in good shape. On a scale of 1-10 body wise, I´d give it an honest 7.5. It does have a little bit of rust starting to form under the paint over the rear wheel arches, and under the passenger side windshield channel (common areas), but other than that, body is in good shape. EVERYTHING is labeled so I wouldn´t forget where stuff went. It still has the stock 4.0 I-6, automatic, swapped in NP231 t-case WITH the Tera Low 4:1 gear reduction, Slip Yoke Eliminator with CV rear driveshaft. Brand new custom built 10-point roll cage. Chopped top with a vinyl soft top made out of a TJ soft top. Fuel cell in back with electric fuel pump and 2 spare steel gas cans. Single rear seat and Corbeau Racing suspension front buckets. Custom built front and rear bumpers, and rock sliders. T-case skidplate. D60 front and rear axles. The front is out of a 95 v-10 ram, and the rear is out of a 98 ram. Still have stock 3.55 gears and open diffs. I just put the axles in after tearing the front passenger side knuckle off the D44 that used to be under the front. Just kind of getting out of the sport now so im selling it like it is. All the suspension and steering is custom. Hydro assist steering. It would come with stock dodge ram tires and wheels. The tires on it in the pictures are 40´ Iroks on 16´ Allied Beadlocks. For a $1000 more those tires will go with it. But just to show that 40´ tires will fit on it.Yes it runs and drives great. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the wheel bearing is bad in the back and you do hear noise but I have the part for it so that will come along with the truck. I also have a book to fix or repair anything on the truck. I have had a mechanic look at it and that is exactly what is wrong. Newer tires on it with recent oil change done. Everything is electric including the moonroof. Towing hitch is already on it. Right now I have an aftermarket headunit in it but still have the stock that will be put in before purchase. The 4 wheel drive works great as well. Details: I am looking to sell my 1979 Jeep Cj5.Jeep has been gone through quite extensively. I will do my best to go through everything that has been done and be honest about it.Starting with the frame, it was reboxed from the transmission back. Whole thing was POR-15ed.Body is a 4WD fiberglass body with the original white gel coat finish. Tub, hood, and fenders are all fiberglass. Windshield frame, dash, and grill are steel yet.Engine is a 232 out of a 1976 CJ5, transmission, and transfer case are the same. I pulled the engine out of that jeep and drove it before I swapped them. Engine seems strong, I have put about 1500 miles on it. (I think it has total around 50,000). The only issue I know of is the syncros are going in 2nd gear and will occasionally pop out if you dont hold it in... I have 2 other transmissions and they are currently at a transmission shop to be made into one.I put on a new Carter BBD carb and Heddman header when I put the engine in as well.Suspension is a Procomp 2.5´ lift kit put in about 1500 miles ago.Tires are very new, probably have around 2500 miles. They are 31x10.5r15.Interior is almost completely new. Seats are bestop, except for the rear which is a rare tan Levi´s edition seat...only has one small tear in the back. Otherwise a great piece of jeep history.Wiring throughout almost all of the vehicle has been gone through and beefed up. Extensive grounding was done because of the fiberglass body.Soft top is in good shape, I believe it is a Bestop as well.I have a beefy front and rear bumper (tire carrier on rear) that are being made down in Illinois and should be done soon to go the jeep.It is an older vehicle and does have its quirks but is a ton of fun!I´d like to get 6000 with the bumpers and everything else for it. The bad things: The rear windshield wiper does not work, one battery post likes to slip off, wiper fluid doesn´t work, tape deck does not work, and the vehicle has almost 220,000 miles.The good things: 4wd. It drives very well, the heat is strong, never fails to start, radio works well and can be switched out to a new tape deck or cd player. I bought seat covers and I frequently clean/vacuum so there is no mess. I have a clean title with no liens so there would be no issues in registering it. It´s a 4.0L, has had regular oil changes although I do not keep the paperwork. I bought it about a year ago and had the battery, one headlight, and starter replaced. All lights work as well as horn, directionals, etc. I frequently drive to Green Bay and Oshkosh, most miles I put on it are highway miles. I just recently when through the whole jeep and gave it a tune up (plugs, filters, EGR, PCV, Oil, lubes), new bilstien struts and shocks, oil catch-can, alignment ect. The 60k service was performed at a certified Jeep dealer. I have paperwork for everything. There is nothing wrong with this jeep! The previous owner took care of it very well. I added custom wheels/tires (black), LED interior lights, front drive and passenger side window tint (matched to the rear), weather tech floor mats front and rear. I do have the stock 18´ chrome wheels (no tires). My loss your gain. I´m trying to get what I owe on it. Details: I have a very nice Grand Cherokee for sale in excellent shape. White exterior with grey cloth interior. It has the Magnum V8 with an automatic transmission with 156,000 miles on them. They both are still in great condition, runs excellent and shifts excellent. It also has the Quada- Trac drive-train with 4x4 all-time and also has the towing package. The tires are in good shape with lots of tread left. It drives amazing in the winter and I never got stuck despite how bad the weather was. The interior of the car is in great condition and comes with newer Kenwood Excelon speakers and an aftermarket Sony Alpine head unit. The heat and A/C work awesome and the A/C was just recharged. Regular maintenance done with oil changes every 3000 miles. Will have a fresh oil change before it is bought. Tons of newer parts including serp belt, radiator, battery, starter, brake pads and rotors all the way around, spark plugs, air filter, wires, and transmission mounts. Also the whole front end was done including both pitman arms, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, both sway bar links, and a front end alignment all done professionally. Will come with the full size spare tire with the jack. Also wired for subs it the back, or I could take it out depending on preference. Great beginner SUV or great SUV to tow your boat, trailer, camper, or snowmobiles. Really good SUV for the money considering what everyone else wants for their Jeeps that need work and this one needs nothing. Might come with some extra goodies for the right price.
