Details: I´ve got a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee full time 4-wheel-drive for sale for 3500 obo. The car has 118,500 miles on it and doesn´t have any major mechanical defects, runs smoothly, and the only thing I´ve had to take it in for is oil changes every 3,000 miles and I had to have the axle fixed last year. Other than this the car runs fairly smoothly. Inside I put in new coverings and floor rugs because the inside definitely shows wear without them, and outside the car looks great except for the back door (which you can see in one of the pictures below) where the previous owner was rear ended in the lower left hand section, but the back door still works just fine (albeit the windshield wiper for the back is out). The car also has an electric sun roof, and power windows and locks. The title is clean and I have it in hand, I´m just trying to get some money for summer and fall semester. Details: I have lost interest in my Jeep project. 4.0L 5speed, less that 40,000 miles. No doors or top. My loss is your gain. Lots of money spent on aftermarket parts. Brand new zero mile 35´ BFG KM2 tires with brand new Rock Crawler rims. New ORO U-Turn HD high steering system($700), New hood, New Poison Spyder tube fenders, New Poison Spyder Rocker guards that I just had powder coated. Just installed a new Fuel Pump, filter and sending unit. Brand new Tera Flex Belly up transmission skid plate. Dynatrac Pro-Rock 60 rear axle with 4:88 gears and a Detroit Locker. Spent $5000 on rear axle alone. Front differential is a D30 with 4:88 gears and an ARB air locker. Custom 4 link rear suspension built by 4Wheelers in Phoenix. ARB compressor with tire inflation kit. Just had a new rear driveshaft built by Adams driveshaft in Nevada. The tub interior was herculined for durability. Custom front and rear bumpers/tire carrier built by Serious Metal Fab. Mastercraft front suspension seats. New cooling fan/clutch, radiator, fan shroud. There are a couple things that need too be addressed on the jeep but nothing major. The front driverside upper control arm mount has an elongated bolt hole which is causing slop in the front suspension. The mount requires some repair or modification like I had planned. Also the AC needs to be recharged. There is also something wrong with the heater fan, it makes howling noise(there might be a leaf or something in it). Also I have a motor mount lift for it that I haven´t installed yet. Tons of work has been done to this jeep and it is a beast on the trail. Needs a little work to finish. I just don´t have the enthusiam about it as I once did, so selling it as is.
